Literacy Lambton is running the Train Your Brain fundraiser supported by the Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K, raising funds through volunteering at Sarnia Jackpot Time bingo to support reading and math programs for Grade 3 and Grade 4 students. Tee Box Pet Photo — 2026 Humane Society Open
The Sarnia and District Humane Society is taking final orders for Tee Box Pet Photo signs, $30 each, which will be displayed at Huron Oaks Golf Course on September 18, 2026. Signs include your pet photo and name, can be picked up at the shelter the Monday after the tournament, and purchases do not require tournament attendance.

Point Edward Fire and Rescue is recruiting volunteer firefighters to join its 30 person volunteer corps, supporting fire suppression, medical assist, auto extrication, ice and water rescue, and community prevention programs. Dog licensing and animal control services
Point Edward requires dog licensing under By-law No. 8 of 95, with licenses issued at the Municipal Office at 135 Kendall Street Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Animal Control services and reunification are provided by the Sarnia and District Humane Society, and a fee schedule with a January 31 due date is posted on the village site.
