Marielle began fundraising in October, used social media and her work at rocknmickshair to share her story, and walked in memory of her Grandpa to support families across Lambton County.

Board statement on shelter location, legal settlement, and request for Right of First Refusal
On June 16 the Sarnia and District Humane Society board explained why permanent land ownership matters and described a 1 million dollar legal settlement tied to the Wellington Street property. The board is asking Mayor and City Council to grant a Right of First Refusal for the adjacent parcel and is asking supporters to contact council before the June 22 meeting.
