Dickenson Farms
Dickenson Farms is a fifth generation, family-owned beef and hay farm in Sarnia-Lambton that sells directly from the farm and online. They offer whole, half, and quarter animals, individual cuts and seasonal packages with meat cut and wrapped by appointment, and operate with limited availability based on herd capacity and season. The farm also offers a calf-for-you program where they will buy and raise a calf for a client for a daily fee, and they have invested in pasture management technology with local grant support.

Dickenson Farms will buy a calf for you this spring and transfer ownership when you pay; you then pay a daily rate billed monthly with a stated minimum of 1.75 per animal per day. Pricing will increase if the calf gains 2 pounds per day or more, and when removed you may opt for abattoir processing or an auction sale.
